How we work

We only publish what a publicly accessible primary source supports: statutes, EU regulations, standards and manufacturer and carrier data sheets. Every page lists its sources at the foot.

• Cross-check: we check dimensions and weights against at least two independent data sheets.
• Wording before interpretation: for statutes we cite section and paragraph.
• No forecasts: no returns, rates or price series without a freely accessible primary source.

Transparency note: this portal is edited, but it is not independent. Its operator has commercial ties to providers of investments in containers, swap bodies and freight wagons. Nothing here is investment advice or an offer. Operator details are in the imprint.
